This thick green protein smoothie bowl is a quick, satisfying healthy breakfast that is ready in no time. Dairy free and gluten free. Paleo and vegan options.
1/2cupcoconut milk(carton, not canned), almond milk or another milk or choice
1servevanilla protein powder
1tbspground flaxseed
2tsppeanut butter(swap to cashew butter for paleo)
2tspmaca powder- OPTIONAL
Instructions
Place all ingredients into a high speed blender and process until nice and smooth. If it is too thick to blend, add a little extra coconut milk, or water, just until it's blend-able. You should get a nice thick, creamy consistency, almost like a soft serve.
Scoop into a bowl. Add toppings of choice and enjoy!
Notes
*You can use a plant-based protein powder for a dairy-free and vegan friendly bowl, or use a whey based protein. I usually use a vanilla whey protein in this bowl.*You can add peanut butter or a different nut butter e.g. cashew butter to this smoothie bowl. It's REALLY good with cashew butter!
