So I don’t really like doing anything in particular for Valentine’s Day BUT… I will take any chance there is to eat nice food + head in to the kitchen and destroy it by playing around with new sweet treats! A day that is traditionally celebrated with boxes of chocolates and cupcakes galore is the perfect excuse. Of course, if I’m going to spend time making a delicious treat for my special someone then it has to have a healthy twist to it; that way you know it really comes from my heart!
To get you in the mood to create, here is an enormous list of delicious healthy things you can make for Valentine’s Day – or any day really. Do we really need a reason to make something yummy for someone we love? Heck, make all of these treats just for yourself, and freeze leftover bits and pieces for when you need some self-care time. We all need that.
Now, on to the list of delicious things. I’ve tried to choose a range of treats – though naturally cacao-based items do feature heavily – including no-bake, paleo, vegan and even some seriously luxe pancake options that would make an epic breakfast. Hope you enjoy!
